Planning in Washington, DC
On February
2nd join the New Rules for Global Finance Coalition to plan for
the Spring Meetings of the IMF and World Bank.
In spring 2006 many of us were involved in organizing workshops
on the FFD Agenda in Washington during the WB-IMF Spring meetings. The
Financing for Development Office was especially grateful for these meetings
and have encouraged us to do this again. This is a wide open invitation to
any and all who would like to be engaged in this process.

Planning in New York, NY
On Wednesday, February 7,
from 1:30-2:30, the New York-based NGOs that work on FFD will be meeting and
beginning their preparations for the April meeting, as well as more
medium-term events. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE ON A
CONFERENCE CALL WITH THE NEW YORK NGOs!!! Contact
jgriesgraber@new-rules.org for information on the call. Jo Marie will
definitely be on the call, but would welcomes additional Washington
participation!
